Adref Construction is a specialist construction firm working on high-end construction and building projects in South Wales. Established in 2020, the company is managed by two young directors, Luke Jones and Aled Harries, who adopt a fully collaborative approach to each project and work alongside clients at every step, creating a seamless, enjoyable process from conception to completion.

the brief

We’ll admit we get a thrill from helping a business establish a new digital presence that transforms their brand and the way they connect with customers. So, it was a pleasure to work with the guys from Adref on designing and launching their first website. Up to this point, the company had relied on sending project images to clients via WhatsApp, email, or directing them to an Instagram page. Our brief was to develop a professional site that showcased the company and its projects as well as serving as an information hub for customers.

As a growing company with lots in the pipeline, they requested a CMS that would allow them to upload new projects as their portfolio develops, as well as a personalised enquiry form for potential clients to send information quickly and easily.

the solution

The Adref Construction website was launched in March 2023 with a simple yet professional design that perfectly incorporates its brand colours and identity. Layered with impactful project images shot by Behind the Lens Media, the site packs a punch and really helps Adref Construction stand out from its competitors.

We integrated a branded JotForm into the site which streamlined the fact-finding stage. So, prospective clients now have a simple and effective way to give information about their project and the Adref Construction team have an easily accessible place to manage new enquiries – win, win.

And the icing on the cake is that we gave the team the ability to upload new projects as they’re completed, keeping the site right up to date with the latest additions to their portfolio.

The inclusion of high quality images that illustrate not only the type of projects the company delivers but also the level of craftmanship is essential for the website of any company in this sector, so that’s what we did.

other challenges

One obstacle that we faced with this project was the gathering of project images to embed into the website. The poor weather conditions meant that photoshoots were delayed.

Thankfully, with the help of Tim Hughes of Behind the Lens Media, we were able to include high quality project images that complement the sleek design, creating that all-important eye-catching first impression.
