“Your input has really made a positive contribution to their work” – Liz Lewis, ICT teacher at Ysgol Dewi Sant, St. Davids, Pembrokeshire
Doesn’t it feel good to make a difference!
Web Adept were invited into our local school in St. Davids, Pembrokeshire, Wales to help out with the GCSE Year 10 IT Class project. Their task was to produce a plan for a festival of their own creation and to take into account all the various obligations and responsibilities involved in the organisation of a big event.
Being asked to help out on this project really suited us – and only partly because it got Angus out of the office for a couple of hours. The reality of this ICT project was that it was actually a business project. It was a project in marketing, business planning and all attributes that makes an event succeed.
One of Web Adept’s biggest attractions is the highly business-minded manner in which we approach our work. We know what a business needs in order to get the results they want. This presentation really played to our strengths as Angus talked about the importance of brand marketing, market research, preparation, tag lines, social media and logo design.
“Its an honour to be invited into the school to contribute something back into the community.”
