Web Adept's Corporate Responsibility – Who We Help and How

Here at Web Adept we are  aware of the importance of giving back to our local community.  Being based down in Pembrokeshire, Wales in a small community we are proud to support and be part of a selection of charities.
Our Corporate Responsibilities include:

The Darwin Centre

The Darwin Centre has two major stems.  One, the Darwin Centre Experience is an engagement programme designed to attract and interest children in the STEM subjects.  The other section of The Darwin Centre is the British Science Association funded Darwin Research programme.  We provide free online, email and website support to the Darwin Centre organisation and are currently involved in a pro-bono website re-development project with them and are designing them a whole new website.

Football Beyond Borders

Football Beyond Borders is a charity founded in order to inspire young children through  the power of football to achieve their goals and make their voices heard.  It combines FA qualified coach-training with mentoring and tutoring programmes in the most deprived areas and schools in London. We are currently working on a website design and development project for this charity at a drastically reduced price in order to give this charity a website and online presence designed to increase donations and the reach of Football Beyond Borders.

Wales Air Ambulance

As the number of hospitals in Pembrokeshire and the whole of Wales continues to decrease the Wales Air Ambulance charity provide emergency air cover to those who face life threatening illness or injuries. Many people who live in Wales live in isolated locations far from specialist or major hospitals – for these people the Wales Air Ambulance is absolutely crucial when it comes to saving lives.  Web Adept support the Wales Air Ambulance through financial donation and their monthly lottery – the Wales Air Ambulance only costs £1 per month but as with every charity – every little helps.

Pembrokeshire 2 Paris, organised by Prostate Cymru

Prostate Cymru are a voluntary group dedicated to fighting Prostate Cancer and raising awareness about Prostate Cancer and this year they have organised the Pembrokeshire 2 Paris Bike Ride.  We have sponsored the Pembrokeshire 2 Paris Bike Ride – which takes place 6th-12th September.  The Pembrokeshire 2 Paris Bike Ride is also supporting Pembrokeshire Autism Society, and Pembrokeshire’s Riding for the Disabled and all donations are split equally between the three charities.
