Business in Focus have two regional Enterprise Hubs delivering everything you need for setting up and running your business in Wales. The hubs allow people to access advice from a team of experts and attend training workshops to improve their skills. And it doesn’t stop there. They also provide co-working spaces and often host networking events. Business in Focus understands the challenges faced by emerging businesses and tailors its support to address specific needs, empowering entrepreneurs to navigate the complexities of running a business. 

the brief

In keeping with their mission of providing businesses with help and support, we were asked to deliver a series of workshops on our local turf in Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion.

From experience, we know that many people can find digital, financial and other business workshops daunting, so our job was to make the sessions straightforward, useful, fun and engaging, with easily actionable points moving forward. 

the solution

We presented a range of topics, including Softer Skills Awareness, Business Skills, Social Media and Microsoft Basics, E-commerce, Finance Packages, Digital Marketing, and Cyber Security and Website Development. We kept things jargon-free and to-the-point so that people really grasped the topics, gained new insights and practical skills and felt more empowered to take things further on their own.
