PACTO are a small community charity who support local enterprises to provide community and wheelchair accessible transport for people who would otherwise have problems getting out and about. As Pembrokeshire is mainly rural, these services are vital in helping people who might otherwise be stuck at home. The services they support include Green Dragon Buses, Dial-a-Ride Narberth, Pembrokeshire Voluntary Transport, Fflecsi Bwcabus and Country Cars which is run by the Royal Voluntary Service. PACTO supports these groups with volunteer recruitment and training, provision of vehicles, grant funding applications and many other services in order to keep them running and available for the local community to use and enjoy.

the brief

The PACTO team needed a full brand pack with loads of assets to launch the brand and get the word out about the amazing things they do for the community here in Pembrokeshire.

The launch was coming up fast, so we needed to get our skates on and make sure they had the full package ready to go ahead of their big day.

the challenge

This was a nought to sixty job. We had quite a tight time period between nothing and a full brand launch (which was booked in advance), so we had to jump on it pronto. This was quite a challenge because we had to meet the deadline but also factor in time for amendments to make sure they were happy with the designs. Solid branding is so important – this would be their identity for years to come, so we had to nail the brief fast, despite the tricky timeline.

the solution

In the end, we based the logo off a drawing one of their team created. This added a really unique touch – it’s always extra special when the client gets involved in the creation process as it makes the final branding so much more tailored, personal and unique. And we’re happy to report that they got everything they needed in time for the launch event.
