Sup Guides
SUP Guides specialise in bespoke Stand Up Paddleboarding trips, courses and guiding around the Pembrokeshire Coast. Lead guides Rachel and Ben created the business to share their paddling expertise and passion for exploring the Welsh coastline. Every adventure helps participants develop their skills and connect with the local marine environment in one of the most outstanding coastal landscapes in the UK.
the brief
The SUP Guides team wanted a bold, polished and highly-visual site that captured the excitement and spirit of their adventure activities. Seamless, simple navigation and a clean layout were design priorities.
They also wanted pricing information to be prominently displayed, with clear Book Now CTAs visible at all times on mobile and desktop to encourage click-through.
the solution
Creating outdoor adventure sites is a speciality of ours, so we put all our know-how to good use, creating an energetic, engaging site that’s effortlessly functional too.
We added the required CTAs as well as an expandable FAQ’s section on each activity page, so visitors have all the information they need. We also made sure there were social icons that opened in a separate window to SUP Guides’ Facebook and Instagram pages and a fast contact form to drive enquiries.
The result is a responsive, easily navigable website that radiates adventure but also differentiates the business from other Pembrokeshire outdoor activity providers.

The team gave us some great images, and we led with impact, using an attention-grabbing aerial shot of the Pembrokeshire Coast for the page banner. Adventure activity sites always need lots of action-focused images and epic landscape shots to drive home the experiences on offer. Powerful imagery conveys emotion and detail far faster than words and plays a crucial role on a site like this.

We always enjoy working on outdoor activity websites and this was no exception. Making the Pembrokeshire Coast look amazing isn’t difficult! Everything sailed through smoothly too, so it was highlights all round on this project.
