MUUK have been giving adrenaline seekers the adventure of a lifetime right here on the stunning Pembrokeshire Coast since 2010. From running, cycling and hiking endurance challenges to surfing, kayaking and even coasteering, exciting outdoor activities are their speciality. They have a long list of loyal customers including schools, sports teams, corporate clients, holidaymakers and West Wales locals.

the brief

We have a lot of long-standing clients and we’re glad to say that includes the awesome team at MUUK. We inherited an in house website which was in desperate need of the Web Adept touch to make it easier to manage and to showcase the business better, especially in terms of its international growth and promoting popular events.

We often pick the 3rd-4th generation websites, so we get all the fun that goes with creating a more professional format that adds value to the brand. Our remit was to design a new site that was more responsive, eye-catching and with all the usual bells and whistles that make a website great. They also wanted to display their challenges by category to make searching more intuitive.

the solution

The old site wasn’t fit for purpose anymore, so with a dollop of inspiration from the MUUK crew and our extensive web knowledge, we came up with a clean, modern, knock-out brochure. 

The overall look seamlessly incorporated their distinctive black and yellow branding, with an attention-grabbing video banner to kick off the home page. We made sure the adventure offerings were all organised into clear categories and that the CMS was user friendly and easy to update, as well as integrating functional elements like an enquiry form and third party booking buttons.

The MUUK team have a great eye for taking epic photos, so we packed the site with the high-quality, optimised images they supplied of our beautiful corner of Wales. From seascapes to action snapshots, the range of pictures not only adds to the overall brightness and energy of the site but really gives customers a feel for the awesome adventures they can expect with MUUK.
