Wales’s largest spirits and soft drinks bottler, Mallows Bottling, is a multi-award-winning, family-run business, offering tailored solutions for everything from celebrity artisan spirits to soft drinks. Located in the heart of the Welsh Valleys, the company has quickly risen from small start up to a leader in the industry and are renowned for their creativity, efficiency, and quality.

The Brief

The brief from the Mallows team was to design and develop a second B2B website for the contract bottling arm of the business as well as migrate the existing e-commerce website to a different domain name. They also wanted a more easily managed CMS that would enable them to add content (in both English and German) and expand the website in line with their rapidly evolving business.

Clear, bold calls to action were also a priority to help drive enquiries and make the customer journey more straightforward.

The Solution

With designs created by Mallows Bottling’s own graphic designer, we delivered a vibrant, intuitive, and refined website that exudes quality, trust, and professionalism. The e-commerce branch flows seamlessly from the main site and there is plenty of scope for the Mallows team to create and add the content they need going forward. While English is the default site language, we used Weglot to enable page translation into German. The result is a website that not only looks great but gives the team all the functionality they need both now and moving into the future.

With eye-catching banner images and plenty of stylish shots of the bottling plant in action, the visuals give the site a polished look. We also added bold accreditation sliders and made sure to highlight the many prestigious awards the business has under its belt. As a family-run SME, pictures of the team also feature prominently on the site, reflecting the company’s professional yet personable approach.

other challenges

There were no major challenges on this project. Some of the website requirements did move in a different direction from the initial brief over time but this is all part of our custom website design process.
