A haven of calm and the perfect country escape, Newgale Holidays is run by farmers Nick and Jess Neumann, whose family has lived and worked in Pembrokeshire for generations. The beautiful views from the campsite at Rainbolts Hill Farm, luxury holiday cottages and friendly owners have made it a popular West Wales vacation spot. The accommodation and campsite are thoughtfully designed – with three of the cottages on a single level and accessible to wheelchairs, easy campsite access from the main road, an on-site shop and excellent facilities. And it’s dog friendly, so visitors can bring their four-legged friends. The business is also as green and sustainable as possible, generating its own power using a wind turbine and minimising on-site plastic use.

Nick and Jess needed a knockout website with a fresh look that reflected Pembrokeshire’s beauty and laid back vibe, but also gave visitors plenty of useful information about Newgale Holidays, Rainbolts Hill Farm, and the surrounding area.

The main aim of the site was to generate bookings, so it had to be seriously user friendly and responsive.

the solution

Fuelled by a passion for Pembrokeshire, we got down to business, creating a new ecommerce website to grab the attention of holidaymakers and inspire bookings.

A video on the homepage makes a big impact, highlighting the beauty and tranquillity of the area and leaving visitors dreaming of holidays ahead. The site has some great interactive features, like 360-degree tours of each of the cottages, a live webcam of Newgale beach, and a news blog – the kind of additions that set Newgale Holidays apart in a highly competitive online marketplace.

The site’s booking system integration also allows users to conveniently view availability and book cottages or pitches there and then.

As well as the technical additions, we also had to think about managing guests’ expectations, so we packed the website with useful content about the site itself and things to do in the area.

Professional images, videos and 360 tours added so much to the look and feel of the website – not just in showcasing the high spec accommodation but in giving people a real insight into the joys of heading down to Pembrokeshire to chill out and get away from it all.

There are so many holiday options here in Pembrokeshire, it was especially important that the Newgale Holidays website stood out from the crowd.
