Puffin Produce are a renowned wholesale and retail supplier of Pembrokeshire-grown potatoes, seasonal vegetables and daffodils. A grower-owned company, working with local farmers across Pembrokeshire and supporting the Welsh farming community is at the heart of what they do. As well as the business to business Puffin Produce venture, they also have the well-known Blas y Tir brand, bringing quality potatoes to UK consumers.

We love a collaboration – Puffin Produce came to us with a third party design and asked us to build the website and its functionality from their brief.

The website needed to be fresh, clear and user-friendly, with straightforward navigation that guides potential clients or suppliers straight to the right information quickly and easily.

the solution

Working to their design brief (with a dash of added functionality) we created an agile website with a fresh feel that incorporated company colours to enhance branding. We always make sure to check in regularly with our clients, so we had meetings as we went along to iron out any questions and make sure we were on the same page throughout the process.

high quality images

Great photography can elevate even the humble potato. For a company that offers such top quality local produce, the images used on their site had to reach the same high standards. We also added some shots of the local farmers who grow all the seasonal veg and are an integral part of the business. Customers want to know where their food comes and learn more about the people who do all the hard work to put dinner on the table – and using images is a really simple and effective way to do that.
